On Canada’s very first National Day for Truth & Reconciliation, Point Grey Village wishes to honour our community partners at the Musqueam First Nation. Today on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples, including the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations, we remember the lost children and survivors of residential schools, along with their families and communities. We stand in solidarity with all the indigenous peoples of Canada, adding our voices to a call for justice that can no longer be ignored.
